"

Synopsis

The following events take place during the Terran Campaign: Rebel Yell. This is the story of an isolated conflict, centered within the Confederate system of Brontes, as the Zerg Swarms continue to encroach upon the core Terran worlds.
The solar system of Brontes hosts a scattering of sparsely populated mining communities. Part of the Confederation but far from the scene of battle, its planets' militia is both few in number and poorly trained. The most far-flung of these planets is Brontes IV, the center stage of our adventure.

Terran Campaign

The story begins upon the small planet of Brontes IV. A unit is sent to investigate rumors of rebel activity. The threat proves genuine, and far more serious than predicted. Due to the war, however, support from neighboring military installations is unavailable. The local garrison must use its own meager resources to deal with the growing rebel threat.
Under the charismatic guidance of their leader, the rebels are rapidly gaining advocates. In no time, the Fist of Redemption (as the rebels have named themselves) spreads throughout the neighboring settlements. Feeling the sting of the Fist's efforts, and regretting their prior decision to provide help, several outlying colonies form a Council of Inquiry to deal with the escalating situation. It is the Council's decision to create a military body to quell the threat. Summoned from the surrounding colonies, these units are formed into an elite task force with the sole objective of eliminating the Fist of Redemption. The strike force is dubbed the Hammer.

Protoss Campaign

Meanwhile, far above the planet's surface, a debate rages amongst the Protoss Conclave. Convinced that the Zerg will ultimately use humanity as the next rung on the genetic ladder, they witness the escalating situation on Brontes IV as the beginning of the end. Many support the destruction of the planet, hoping to eliminate the growing power of the Zerg. Others, however, believe in less drastic measures.
Sensing that time is of the essence, a small force is deployed from Tassadar's main host. They are known only as the 7th Fleet. Intent on eliminating the threat, they destroy several infested planets before reaching the source of the disturbance. The surface of Brontes IV lay rife with infested colonies. Only a few scattered human encampments remain to fight against the Zerg and their followers. The 7th Fleet engages the Incubus Brood until a new enemy appears upon the horizon...

Zerg Campaign

The prolonged battle against Terran and Protoss has weakened the leader of the Cerebrate Auza, master of the Incubus Brood. With the assimilation of the rebel's psychic leader, Atticus Carpenter, the link with the Overmind has even further strained. Only later does it become apparent that the Cerebrate Auza no longer exists. The indomitable will of Carpenter has triumphed, and a new cerebrate has been born out of the union between Carpenter and Incubus. Sensing the Cerebrate's growing insanity, the Overmind creates a new cerebrate to deal with the insurgent menace. With the help of the Cerebrate Nargil, the Overmind's youngest has been given one command. If they bleed, they shall die.

NEW TERRAN FACTIONS

The planet of Brontes IV has long been loyal to the Confederacy. In the wake of recent events, however, the political landscape has changed dramatically. As the larger Squadrons are deployed closer to the arena of battle, more and more of the local citizens have joined the call to arms, in order to protect them from the alien threat.

Brontes IV Confederate Militia
COLOR -- Brown
The Battalion stationed on Brontes IV is similar to any other military body stationed throughout the Confederation. Until the events of the following adventures, the Battalion was unremarkable from any other within the galaxy.

Delta Squadron "the Hammer"
COLOR -- Purple
Upon grasping the threat of the Fist of Redemption, the combined governments of the Brontes system decide to form a Council of Inquiry to deal with the problem. It is decided that martial action must be implemented immediately, and thus the Council's Hammer is formed. Comprised of the best of the best that Brontes has to offer, and under the leadership of Commander Frost, the task force is charged with eliminating all seditious behavior within the system.
Over the course of the first Campaign, the corruption behind the Council becomes evident. The Hammer (as they dub themselves), once freed from the yoke of the Council, seize their autonomy and work towards their original goal -- the elimination of the Fist.

THE PIRATE MILITIAS

The Rebels "Fist of Redemption"
COLOR -- White
Little is known about the Fist of Redemption. Atticus Carpenter, a former Ghost of the Confederation, is rumored to be the ringleader of the revolt. In truth, the Fist is far more powerful than anyone could have realized. Led by the deluded genius of Carpenter, the Fist plans to bring about the evolution of all mankind.

NEW PROTOSS FACTIONS

The 7th Fleet
COLOR -- Blue
The Zerg must evolve psychic awareness if they are to face the Protoss and emerge the victor. The Terrans pose as a potential source to this power. Atticus Carpenter, a highly psychic Terran, is a veritable gateway to their conquest.
A small division of Tassadar's Fleet, the Seventh has been deployed to secure the Brontes System against the encroaching swarm. While the Enclave argues about the fate of the Terrans, Andraxxus guides his small group to victory.

NEW ZERG FACTIONS

Incubus Brood
COLOR -- Teal
The Brood known as Incubus excels at the arts of conversion and consumption. Lacking the sheer destructive capacity of most of the larger broods, the Brood is most often directed towards smaller fringe colonies and settlements. Its powers of conversion enable the Zerg to learn of their enemies' future intent, often before their infiltration is discovered.

Carpenter's Brood
COLOR -- White
Carpenter's Brood has two goals, self-preservation and the accumulation of power. Many would have thought Carpenter to be mad with his aspirations of ultimate power. Regardless of what his critics may think of his sanity, he has accomplished his goal. If his ambition continues unchecked, it is only a matter of time before he challenges the Overmind.
The Brood has several advantages over its more numerous brethren. As it receives commands directly from Carpenter, it is faster to react to any immediate situation.

ROSTER OF HEROES

Jack Frost
Male Terran, age 38
Ex-Confederate Officer
Firebat
Cool as a cucumber, that's Jack. Heralded as one of Brontes' most brilliant tacticians, he wrote the book on colonial warfare. However, the patriotism of his youth has since turned to bitterness. He left active duty after witnessing the atrocities committed in the name of justice. Now he's tired of fighting, and has begun to comfortably settle into his role as the retired local hero. Disillusioned, but with a heart of gold, he does his best to look out for his friends and fellow citizens. In times when he feels he's needed, Jack's a born leader. When the heat's turned on, he just smiles and nods.

Charlie Vane
Male Terran, age 28
Colonial Scout
Brontes Battalion IV (later the Hammer)
Wraith Pilot
According to Vane there are two things you need in order to get by in life: good looks and a strong right hook. What's more, he fancy's himself a lady's man, and of course it's this sort of rakish charm that landed him in his current predicament; a petty-officer on a backwater Confederate planet.
He's the consummate gambler and could outdrink a fish, but as Vane always says, it's the vices of life that make it worth living. Ask him no questions and he'll tell you no lies.

Tsuname
Male Terran, age 48
Confederate Lieutenant
Brontes IV Battalion Division (later the Hammer)
Not even dismemberment could keep him from active service. Both ill tempered and violent, the Goliath known only as Tsuname has served the Confederation for more than 20 years. Tsuname's valor is matched only by his cruelty.

Black Morgan
Female Terran, age 36
Former Colonial Lieutenant
Whereabouts unknown
Former Dropship Pilot
In the day, Black Morgan was known to be one of the hottest Dropship pilots in the Confederation. There was no mission too deadly for her to undertake, although she made no promises to her passengers. One of her favorite passengers was Jack Frost. And, as the story goes, they shared many trips together. After many years of active service, Morgan vanished. Some say she retired to her hometown of New Dresdin, others say she fled as far away from Jack as possible.

Atticus Carpenter
Male Terran, age 38
Rebel Ringleader
Fist of Redemption
Ghost (later Carpenter Cerebrate)
A former Ghost, little is known of Atticus Carpenter. His former superiors are dead, a parting gift from the prodigal son. His dossier labels him one of the most promising of the Brontes IV trainees. Exactly how and why his psychic dampers malfunctioned has been the source of much speculation.

Andraxxus
Protoss, age 314
High Templar
Executor of the Brontes IV Expedition
Andraxxus carries the weight of several worlds upon his shoulders. Loyal to a fault, he wavers in his vindication to indiscriminately destroy the Terran settlements of Brontes. Although it grieves him to commit such acts of terror, he has hardened his heart to the fate of the Terrans.

Syndrea
Protoss, age 323
Judicator
Advisor to the Brontes IV Expeditionary Force
Syndrea has always been held in high esteem by the ruling Conclave. She firmly believes the Terrans should be destroyed for the safety of the Protoss. She fears Andraxxus' compassion for them, viewing it as a weakness that may be her people's downfall. Because of this, she takes every opportunity to sow dissent amongst Andraxxus' followers. She hopes to shatter their vindication and convince them of the error of their ways.

Aedus/Xerxes
Protoss, age 13
Archon
The Archon Aedus/Xerxes exists solely for war. Although originally not of the 7th Fleet, it quickly followed after learning of Andraxxus' mission. No one was willing to stop it.

Demioch
Protoss, age 272
Dragoon
Demioch is one of Andraxxus' most trusted subordinates. He's known and respected for his wise council. Although most often calm, he is inspired to great furies in the defense of his people. He does his best to guide his daughter's political ascent, hoping to keep her closer to him.

Edullon
Protoss, age 103
Zealot
Edullon is renowned for her skill and valor. However, despite her father's best intentions, she remains amongst the rank and file. Having proven herself fearless through many battles, it is only her tongue that keeps her from attaining higher authority. She will only accept those accolades she feels she has gained from her own merit, casting disdain upon those who would denote special treatment.

Auza
Zerg Cerebrate, age Unknown
Master of the Incubus Brood
Auza excels at enticement and conversion. Seemingly innocuous, the Incubus Brood stretches its slippery tentacles far behind enemy lines. Once deeply rooted, Auza's enemies collapse in upon themselves. Direct conflict is most often a last resort. The main force of the Incubus consists of Defilers, Queens and, more often than not, Infested Troopers.

TERRAN 1: Lost Souls

Mission Briefing:

Bill Constantine:
At ease sergeant, I got a mission for you. A routine patrol was sent out two days ago and never returned. I need you to uncover the truth behind their disappearance.

Sergeant:
Wait a minute...why me? Search and rescue is left to the Confederate bigwigs. I'm just a scout. I'm the one who usually gets rescued.

Bill Constantine:
You're beyond rescuing sergeant. I understand this is not your area of expertise, but you're the only one I can trust with this delicate situation. With the threat of the Zerg looming ever closer, the Confederacy's resources are taxed to the utmost. I need to know what happened to that patrol. You gotta check it out for yourself and let me know firsthand. We can't risk having a public scandal. The populace is already panicked with the threat of the Zerg looming on the horizon.

Sergeant:
I'll see what I can do, but you know I do my best work solo.

Game:

Sergeant:
Footprints...we're on the right track. The patrol passed this way.

Marine:
Yeah, but how can you be sure it was them?

Sergeant:
The Zerg don't wear no stinkin' boots!

Sergeant:
Who the hell were those guys?

Marine:
I don't know sir, but they was wearing ìbootsî.

Sergeant:
Just shut up smart ass...

Sergeant:
The old installation: I had forgotten about this place. We'd better have us a little look-see.

Marine:
I got a bad feeling about this, sir...

Sergeant:
Get the hell outta here, we're being bushwhacked! Fall back to the RV! I'm calling the dropships A.S.A. damn P. and I don't want to hear any flack about a hot LZ! Wait a minute...that rhymes!

Sergeant:
If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed it. We were like lambs to the slaughter. I'm callin' the dropships to pick us up. We're outta here.

TERRAN 2: Rebel Installation

Mission Briefing:

Bill Constantine:
Good work sergeant. It's safe to assume your unknown assailants are connected with the disappearance of our patrol unit.

Sergeant:
It's a shame it cost us so many lives to determine that. I should have gone in alone.

Bill Constantine:
And you would have died. Then we'd have one more missing soldier and still no clue as to who is threatening us. You did a good job, sergeant. Get some rest, you'll feel better in the morning. You're free to leave.

Bill Constantine:
Gentlemen!

Ghost #2:
Marshal.

Bill Constantine:
So, you're the team known only as the Shroud. Your superiors speak highly of you. I hear some of you are the best. I trust that's true?

<Uncomfortable silence>

Bill Constantine:
Ah...yes <ahem>. Well, you're gonna to have to be good. I need you to infiltrate the installation our scouts have uncovered. I need to know who is residing in there and where their...

Ghost #1:
...their loyalties lie. Furthermore, you wish us to determine the fate of your lost patrol. If there are any survivors, we'll find them.

Bill Constantine:
Assemble your team and deploy them as quickly as possible.

Ghost #3:
They're ready and waiting outside your door, sir.

Bill Constantine:
They give me the creeps.

<No character displayed>
You needn't worry about us, Marshal.

GAME

ìEntrance through abandoned storage tunnels authorized. Hostages believed to be held to the southwest.

Gather as much information as possible.

Proceed under radio silence.î

Rebel Marine:
Why'd the doors just open? Call for support.

Ghost #1:
Here we go, now we're getting somewhere...

Adjutant:
Intruder alert. Sealing all exits.

Ghost #1:
Hmm. If we want to get out we're gonna have to find a way to short circuit the door lock system.

Civilian:
Wait! Don't hurt me; I am on your side! I can tell you important information!

Ghost #2:
Then speak or die.

Civilian:
They are crazy. Led by Atticus Carpenter they are: the craziest of the bunch. They think the Zerg are their salvation. They think with them that one day they will rule the world. Please take me with you; free me from this place.

Ghost #2:
Your mind betrays your tongue rebel. Here's your freedom.

Civilian:
Wait! No! Nooo!

<Gunshots>

Ghost #2:
Now we know who's behind this. Let's look for some prisoners and leave this place.

Ghost #1:
There must be a way to open this door.

Ghost #1:
Look at this; it looks like a laboratory...or a nursery. They're breeding something in those capsules.

Ghost #2:
One of them looks broken.

Ghost #1:
That looks like a Confederate uniform on the corpse in the pit. We should check it out.

Ghost #1:
It looks like these creatures chewed their way into the ventilation system. This might be a way to get in the internal wiring of the place. Just give me a moment.

<Sound of soldering>

Adjutant:
Door locks re-opened.

Ghost #1:
That should do the trick.

Ghost #1:
This is the place we want to be...

Marine:
Help us, we're down here!

Adjutant:
Intruder alert ñ location: west prison cell.

TERRAN 3: Jackís Back

Mission Briefing:

Bill Constantine:
Jack, it's good to see you.

Jack Frost:
It's been a long time.

Bill Constantine:
Too long. Look, I'll cut to the chase. I've called you here because I need your help.

Jack Frost:
I've retired Bill. You know how I feel about the Confederacy.

Bill Constantine:
This isn't for the Confederacy Jack; it's for the people of Brontes IV. Before you say no, I think you should see something. Our agents recovered this data disk from the rebel encampment.

Atticus Carpenter:
No longer shall we have to suffer the torment of our oppressors. No longer shall they squeeze the very life's blood from our hearts! Brothers and sisters, the time has come to rise in arms against the Confederacy! The time has come for us to break the shackles of tyranny. Our saviours shall descend from the skies. We must open ourselves to them, and they shall lead us to salvation. Join us. Join the Fist of Redemption.

Jack Frost:
So you called me here for this? A crazy prophet with a bad promo disk. You're losing your touch, Bill.

Bill Constantine:
He might be crazy, Jack, but he's gathered quite a following. And there's more Jack. Something else we found in the installation...Zerg.

Jack Frost:
You mean...what he was talking about on the disk was...

Bill Constantine:
Yes, Jack.

Jack Frost:
But that's madness!

Bill Constantine:
That's why I need your help.

Jack Frost:
Why not call in the Confederate troops? This sounds like something more than the militia can handle.

Bill Constantine:
I tried that! I requisitioned reinforcements: I only got a unit of ghosts. The magistrate refused to send any further support. A surprise assault on the installation, under your military genius, is our only recourse. Every day we wait, the threat grows. You'd have complete command over the Brontes IV Militia.

Jack Frost:
All right Bill. I'll play your game. For now.

Game:

Marine:
Locked, cocked and ready to rock, sir!

Jack Frost:
Then let's show 'em we mean business.

Jack Frost:
Hmm... The remains of the scouting party I see.

Rebel Marine:
Kill 'em all! Let God sort 'em out.

TERRAN 4: Atkinson Airfield

Mission Briefing:

Jack Frost:
The installationís been destroyed.

Bill Constantine:
Excellent work Jack. But the situation is worse than we thought. The rebels have dug their tendrils deeply into the local communities. The threat is far from over. Most importantly, our agents have spotted rebels near the Atkinson Airfield. You know what that means don't you?

Jack Frost:
It means I've done what I said I would do, Bill. The rest is up to you.

Bill Constantine:
But we need you Jack! Where are you going?!?

Jack Frost:
That's my business, Bill. I've done my duty. I'm tired of fighting.

Bill Constantine:
Jack, get back here! You're gonna regret this Jack! Dammit!

Bill Constantine:
Sergeant Tsuname!

Tsuname:
Yes, marshal.

Bill Constantine:
The Atkinson Corporation has long been in the business of developing military technology. It is suspected that the rebels may be claiming a shipment of spacecraft from the corporation. I'm placing you in charge of the foray to stop this transaction, by any means necessary. We can't have the rebels take to the skies.

Tsuname:
The rebels shall be ground to dust beneath my feet.

Game:

Tsuname:
Kill them all.

Charlie Vane:
But shouldn't we determine if the rumours are true, sir?

Tsuname:
Kill them all.

Charlie Vane:
... Yes sir.

TERRAN 5: The Confederate Militia

Mission Briefing:

Adjutant:
Intruder alert. Lower west landing station. Receiving incoming transmission:

Atticus Carpenter:
Greetings, marshal. I trust you are having a pleasant afternoon?

Bill Constantine:
What are you up to?

Atticus Carpenter:
Currently, my minions surround your control centre, marshal.

Bill Constantine:
So, it's a fight you want?

Atticus Carpenter:
I most humbly request your immediate and unconditional surrender.

Bill Constantine:
You're a fool Carpenter.

Atticus Carpenter:
Mr. Constantine. I have endured your repeated attacks upon my people with good grace. Please extend the courtesy by having the intelligence to know when it is time to give up.

Bill Constantine:
And, if I say no?

Atticus Carpenter:
You will die.

Bill Constantine:
Better to die with honour than to cow tow to a madman like you.

Atticus Carpenter:
You confuse honour with stupidity, marshal. So be it. The blood of the Confederate militia will stain your hands.

Game:

Marine:
I don't know where you're going, buddy, but one look at you and I know it's gonna be hot.

Charlie Vane:
Better buckle up, it's gonna be a big one!

Jack Frost:
We thought you could use a little help.

TERRAN 6: The Call of Duty

Mission Briefing:

Bill Constantine:
Why'd you come back, Jack?

Jack Frost:
Someone had to pull your fat out of the fire.

Bill Constantine:
But I thought you were tired of fighting.

Jack Frost:
I guess you can't keep a good man down.

Adjutant:
Receiving incoming transmission:

Councillor:
Marshal Constantine. I represent the Council of Inquiry, newly appointed to the Brontes system.

Jack Frost:
You represent who?

Councillor:
Several transport ships, bearing a high risk of Zerg infestation, were reported leaving the Brontes IV atmosphere. Although several were destroyed, more have landed throughout the surrounding planetary bodies. Containing such infestations is your responsibility, marshal. Please explain yourself. Why have you allowed this to happen?

Bill Constantine:
I tried to warn you dammit! You wouldn't listen! I've been screaming for reinforcements for weeks!

Councillor:
Such an outburst is unwarranted marshal. I am empowered to inform you that you are hereby relieved of duty. The Council will be assuming responsibilities for governing Brontes IV.

Bill Constantine:
What?!?

Jack Frost:
I've heard enough of this, let's go Bill.

Councillor:
Ah, not so fast Lieutenant Frost. The Council has deemed you worthy of service.

Jack Frost:
Sorry, not interested.

Councillor:
Hmm. Despite your reputation, you do not seem to be much of a hero.

Jack Frost:
Yeah, well, we're all heroes on Brontes IV.

Councillor:
Mr. Frost, refusing to answer the call of duty might place your loyalties in question. From someone inhabiting an infested planet, it might even be considered treasonous...

Jack Frost:
You're blackmailing me?

Councillor:
No. We are shedding the light of reason upon a very delicate topic. Someone has to ensure that reinforcements arrive.

Jack Frost:
They're sending reinforcements?!?

Bill Constantine:
Please, Jack, do what they say. Not for this pompous ass, but for the people of Brontes IV. We need the reinforcements.

Councillor:
Listen to your friend Lieutenant Frost.

Jack Frost:
All right. For the sake of Brontes IV, I'll do what you want...councillor.

Game:

Tsuname:
Tsuname ready.

Charlie Vane:
Vane ready to rock and roll.

Jack Frost:
All right, troops. Let's show 'em how we do things downtown.

TERRAN 7: The Hammer Strike Force

Mission Briefing:

Councillor:
Precision perfect Lieutenant Frost. Your reputation for military genius is well-founded. The support troops have landed safely. The units are being assembled into an elite task force as we speak.

Jack Frost:
Wonderful. Glad to be of service. I'll be on my way now.

Councillor:
Ah, not so fast Lieutenant. Your service is still required. We need someone of your calibre to lead the Hammer strike force. The Council has elected you for that position. Your first mission is to capture those who aided the rebels with information regarding the orbital relay centre. A series of mining communities has come under the Council's spyglass. One of them is harbouring traitors, although which is not known. Therefore, all of them must be eliminated. The wages of treason are harsh, and the Council believes that this will serve as an example to all.

Jack Frost:
I played the part of your lap dog; I got your men here safely. I'll have no part in the slaughter of innocents. Find someone else to do your dirty work.

Councillor:
You speak sedition.

Jack Frost:
Go to hell.

Councillor:
Tsuname.

Tsuname:
Yes, sir.

Councillor:
You are to command the newly assembled Hammer strike force. Should you encounter Frost, you understand what to do.

Tsuname:
An honour, sir.

Game:

Tsuname:
Lieutenant Vane, scout ahead and report the status of our target.

Charlie Vane:
But sir, these are just civilians. We shouldn't...

Tsuname:
Do as you are told lieutenant!

Charlie Vane:
... Yes, sir.

Charlie Vane:
Iím outta here.

TERRAN 8: New Dresdin

Mission Briefing:

Councillor:
Yet another local mining community, New Dresdin, has been raising public inquiry into the Council's actions. Commander Tsuname, the Council empowers you to destroy this community, as they are likely being manipulated by rebels.

Tsuname:
By your leave.

Game:

Black Morgan:
You.

Jack Frost:
Hello Morgan.

Black Morgan:
What are you doing here?

Jack Frost:
Look I know you're angry. But this is important.

Black Morgan:
I'm not angry Jack. I stopped being angry about seven years ago.

Jack Frost:
Please just listen to me. The Council has determined New Dresdin to be infested. They intend to raze the city to the ground.

Black Morgan:
But why? What have we ever done?

Jack Frost:
You questioned the decision of the Council.

Black Morgan:
But that's insane.

Jack Frost:
It doesn't matter why Morgan. What does matter is getting those people outta here. You still got a dropship?

Black Morgan:
You can't be serious. I haven't flown in over a decade.

Jack Frost:
Well let's hope it's like riding a bike. Come on we haven't much time!

Black Morgan:
OK you rally the people while I try and spark up the dropship.

Marine:
Scouts are reporting they see the Hammer entering the city limits sir.

Jack Frost:
Dammit. Theyíre early!

Black Morgan:
Steady she goes. I think we're in business Jack!

TERRAN 9: The Council Steadfast

Mission Briefing:

Black Morgan:
Well I guess that's it then Mr. Frost. You disappear again and maybe I'll see you in another decade.

Jack Frost:
We can't stop now Morg you know this is only the beginning. The Council won't let themselves be embarrassed. They'll hunt all of us down just to make an example.

Black Morgan:
The name's Morgan Mr. Frost. And what would you suggest I do?

Jack Frost:
All right Miss Morgan. I say we strike at them before they get a chance to find us.

Black Morgan:
That's a great idea! You and me we'll just walk up to the Hammer barracks and kick some butt!

Jack Frost:
Not the Hammer the Council. The Hammer is needed to protect the people. It's the Council that's the cancer. If we eliminate the Council perhaps we can convince the Hammer to perform the duty it was gathered for in the first place.

Black Morgan:
I still don't see how you plan to take out the Council.

Jack Frost:
Everyone knows the Council gets its information through its network of spies. That means it uses Ghosts. I've seen the missile silos surrounding the Council headquarters. I say we give them a taste of their own medicine. You get me in there and I'll do the rest.

Black Morgan:
I'm surprised you trust me Frost. If I drop you off I'm liable to leave you there.

Jack Frost:
You'd leave me there?

Black Morgan:
Like you left me standing ten years ago?

Jack Frost:
Point taken. Well I guess it's a chance I'm gonna have to take. Fair's fair.

Black Morgan:
I see age has done you well you're starting to develop some character Frost.

Jack Frost:
Cute Morgan...real cute.

GAME

Jack Frost:
It's like taking candy from a baby.

Adjutant:
Nuclear launch detected.

Adjutant:
Nuclear launch detected.

Marine:
Help us! Theyíre keeping us prisoner!

Adjutant:
Nuclear launch detected.

Adjutant:
Nuclear launch detected.

Adjutant:
Nuclear launch detected.

Adjutant:
Nuclear launch detected.

Jack Frost:
Mission accomplished. Let's pack it up and get the hell outta dodge troops.

TERRAN 10: Rebellion

Mission Briefing:

Adjutant:
In retaliation for the needless attack on their homes New Dresdin patriots ñ led by ex-Confederate officer Jack Frost ñ retaliated by infiltrating Council headquarters and targeting a nuclear strike. In the ensuing chaos not only has the Council been shattered but panic has swept throughout the common populace.

The remains of the Council under duress by the Hammer have made a declaration instituting marshal law. The surviving Council members deprived of their diplomatic immunity were immediately arrested. Commander Tsuname has been appointed governor of Brontes IV. Local mining communities however ñ still bitter from the scourge of the Hammer's assault ñ have refused to provide gas or minerals to the elite task force. Rumour has it that a movement has already begun to place the outlaw Jack Frost within the governor's seat.

Atticus Carpenter:
Delicious. While we wax in the power of unity our enemies turn in upon themselves. Your reinforcements have arrived Mr. Frost...huh how unfortunate for you.
Control please inform Governor Tsuname of the rebels' whereabouts.

Game:

Black Morgan:
One of our scouts says there's Zerg activity ahead. I can't believe it. Could the Council have been right?

Jack Frost:
More and more this smells like a trap.

Jack Frost:
I knew it! Pull back!

Charlie Vane:
Whoa commander. It's all right we come in peace.

Black Morgan:
That seems a little hard to believe.

Charlie Vane:
We were sent to flush out the New Dresdin outlaws but it seems to us you're doing more good than anyone else. We want to sign up if you'll have us. We're soldiers; none of us joined the Hammer to fight women and children.

Black Morgan:
What's that supposed to mean buddy?

Charlie Vane:
With all due respect ma'am...you I'd be honoured to kill.

Black Morgan:
A real charmer.

Jack Frost:
Welcome aboard gentlemen.

TERRAN 11: Attack and Destroy

Mission Briefing:

Charlie Vane:
We cleaned out those Zerg but I still can't help feel we're missing some of the pieces. It was just too convenient how we found you.

Jack Frost:
You think there's an inside man?

Black Morgan:
Carpenter's influence runs deep. It's entirely possible.

Charlie Vane:
So what do we do?

Jack Frost:
We strike at the heart.

Charlie Vane:
I donít follow.

Jack Frost:
We go after Carpenter. Now's the time. He won't be expecting it.

Black Morgan:
Of course he won't be expecting it. It would be suicide!

Jack Frost:
We took the Council. If we strike fast and hard they'll never know what hit 'em. The longer we wait the more powerful they grow. Meanwhile we're being chipped away by the Hammer.

Charlie Vane:
Iím in.

Black Morgan:
You're both nuts...All right I'll do it. I won't like it but I'll do it.

Game:

Jack Frost:
I'd recognize those uniforms anywhere. It's the Hammer!

Charlie Vane:
You canít meanÖ

Black Morgan:
They've been conspiring with the rebels the entire time!

Jack Frost:
Give me Tsunameís head!

Charlie Vane:
Itís payback time!

Jack Frost:
Congratulations you've finished the Terran campaign. The scattered remains of the Rebels turned tail and ran. It won't be long before our troopers pick 'em up and deal with 'em. But hey it ain't over 'til the fat lady sings. So buckle up take a break and get ready for some more action.

PROTOSS 1: Satellite Platform

Mission Briefing:

Tassadar:
En Taro Adun Andraxxus. You have done well under my guidance. The time draws nigh when you must guide our warriors to victory. The Seventh Fleet shall detach from our main host to protect the passage of our return. The system of Brontes lay deeply embedded within the poisoned clutches of the Zerg. Our expedition is to eliminate this blight by any means.

Andraxxus:
I will not fail you Tassadar.

Tassadar:
Judicator Syndrea will accompany you to offer both council and wisdom. May the Gods guide your actions son of Aiur. And may the light of reason shine upon you.

Syndrea
Executor I have deployed scouts to the Brontes region. They have uncovered the source of contamination to be centred upon the small world of Brontes IV. We have studied the planet's surface and found it rife with Zerg infestation. In the wake of the crumbling Confederacy the Terrans have devolved into anarchy. It lay as a primitive patchwork of feuding tribes and city-states.

Andraxxus:
And you would council judicator?

Syndrea:
Isolate the core of the infestation. Sever all communication between Brontes IV and its neighbouring worlds.

Andraxxus:
A wise decision judicator. Make haste.

Game:

<No in-game dialogue>

PROTOSS 2: Orbital Relay Station

Mission Briefing:

Andraxxus:
Our progress judicator?

Syndrea:
With the Terran satellite platform secured we maintain absolute control over the planet's communication network. Since its seizure there has been notable chaos among the more isolated Terran settlements. As industry and trade have ground to a halt a new level of barbarism devolves amongst its infant race.

Andraxxus:
Your council judicator?

Syndrea:
I would recommend securing the Brontes IV orbital relay station. Whomever holds the station maintains complete control over both entry and exit of the planet's surface. Our scout ships report it is currently held by a scattered collection of Terrans although their resistance rapidly dwindles under the constant harassment of Zerg. We must secure this position if we are to stop the spread of the Zerg contamination throughout the Brontes system.

Andraxxus:
Set course for the orbital relay station. I will accept nothing less than victory!

Game:

<No in-game dialogue>

PROTOSS 3: Dead New Dresdin

Mission Briefing:

Syndrea:
It is foolish to believe anything but destruction will result from this unruly and savage world. I recommend we eliminate all life upon the planet's surface.

Demioch:
We were like them once.

Syndrea:
An embarrassing reminder of a far distant past. As we have isolated Brontes IV from its planetary neighbours it is time to strike at the root of the problem. It is the only way to ensure the Zerg's elimination.

Andraxxus:
It is my intent to focus our strike at the source of this infection. Demioch speaks wisdom. The elimination of the Terrans may be extreme. However the safety of the Protoss cannot be weighed for the lives of one world.

Syndrea I place the vanguard beneath your capable leadership. You are hereby charged with establishing a stronghold on Brontes IV. I will leave Demioch Edullon and Aedus/Xerxes to control you in matters of war and negotiation. As for the fate of the Terrans determine where their loyalties lie. Preserve them if possible. I will return to lead the main assault

Syndrea:
I hope to prove you worthy executor.

Andraxxus:
While you prepare for our arrival I shall guide the bulk of the fleet throughout the surrounding planetary bodies eliminating any sign of further Zerg conquest.
En Taro Adun judicator.

Syndrea:
Advisors.

Syndrea:
I have chosen three targets for the primary assault. Aedus/Xerxes...

Aedus/Xerxes:
Judicator.

Syndrea:
Your legions shall strike at the region of Adbakken. Edullon...

Edullon:
Yes judicator.

Syndrea:
You will lay siege to the city-state known to the Terrans as New Dresdin. Demioch...

Demioch:
My lady.

Syndrea:
As Andraxxus' most trusted I place upon you the duty of greatest importance. You must assault one of the central hives on Brontes IV located within the Carvalho region

Demioch:
As you wish.

Syndrea:
Proceed and may glory follow in your wake.

Edullon:
She sends you to your death! You've seen the extent of Carvalho's corruption. Only the strength of the fleet will end their existence.

Demioch:
Perhaps. If your words speak prophecy then I shall die. Honour demands no less.

Edullon:
Andraxxus values your word too highly. Syndrea seeks to rid herself of your influence.

Demioch:
My victory lies in the spirit. There I shall stand unconquered.

Edullon:
May the Gods guide your blades.

Game:

Jack Frost:
Who the hell are they?

Edullon:
You are not tainted Terrans. You may live.

Jack Frost:
As they say the enemy of my enemy...

Charlie Vane:
...is tall dark and ugly?

PROTOSS 4: In Search of Demioch

Mission Briefing:

Syndrea:
Our first probing of the planet's surface has met with success. Prepare to return to the orbital relay station.

Edullon:
Demioch's vanguard hasn't returned. Surely you plan to wait for them.

Syndrea:
It is too dangerous. Already our enemies plan to retaliate. We must leave them nothing but shadows to strike at.

Edullon:
You would leave them here?!?

Syndrea:
Demioch was defeated. He died with honour.

Edullon:
He's still alive. I would have felt his death.

Syndrea:
Do you question my authority zealot?

Edullon:
I will not leave him here.

Syndrea:
You share his stubbornness.

Edullon:
That is why you sent him to his death? Will you do the same to me?

Syndrea:
That is my choice. Stay with him as you wish. Join him in death then zealot.

Edullon:
Father where are you?

Game:

Charlie Vane:
Someone beat us to the punch. Looks like a cyclone hit this place.

Wraith pilot:
Look at this sir. There are no people only shadows. It looks like they were burned into the ground.

Charlie Vane:
I'm gonna to radio Jack for some back up. If we have to deal with whatever did that I don't want to have to do it alone.

Edullon:
I sense another presence. Familiar.

Edullon:
You're one of the Terrans from New Dresdin.

Charlie Vane:
And you were leading the Protoss that saved us. If it wasn't for you I'd be dead now...or worse.

Edullon:
I sensed you...I am here seeking someone.

Charlie Vane:
The nameís Vane.

Edullon
<Growls and the sound of psi-blades activating>

Charlie Vane:
Whoa! I'm just trying to help! What happened here?

Edullon:
My people were sent to destroy this place.

Charlie Vane:
It's like New Dresdin? They did a good job...

Edullon:
I sense he is alive...in there.

Charlie Vane:
They look hurt. But I'd reckon there still must be a small army hunkered down in there. We'll just have to hole up and wait for the cavalry to come.

Demioch:
You wish to help me? Then take me to my daughter.

Edullon:
I have found you.

Demioch:
Edullon you risk too much to find me here. You should not have come.

Edullon:
I am a warrior father. It is my duty to be here.

Demioch:
Where are the others?

Edullon:
Syndrea has ordered their departure.

Demioch:
They left you?

Edullon:
I would not abandon you.

Demioch:
Your sacrifice gives me strength. Andraxxus must hear of this betrayal. Not for myself but for you my daughter.

Edullon:
You're injured. I will carry you.

PROTOSS 5: Restructuring

Mission Briefing:

Syndrea:
With the destruction of Demioch and the betrayal of Edullon you are my sole advisor Aedus/Xerxes.

Aedus/Xerxes:
I serve only your will judicator.

Syndrea:
So shall begin the second phase of our endeavour. Aedus/Xerxes you are to return to the planet's surface and establish a permanent stronghold. The location I have chosen lies deep in the heartland of both Terran and Zerg. Crush them...

Aedus/Xerxes:
They shall feel the fury of my inception.

Game:

Marine:
But you're supposed to be our allies!

Aedus/Xerxes:
Evidently you were mistaken.

PROTOSS 6: The Slaughter of the Harvesters

Mission Briefing:

Aedus/Xerxes:
We are firmly rooted on the planetís surface judicator.

Syndrea:
En Taro Adun Aedus/Xerxes. I am pleased.

Aedus/Xerxes:
Your command judicator.

Syndrea:
The Zerg draw their strength from their numbers. We must remove their ability to reproduce -- eliminate their ability to harvest resources.
Environmental conditions have prevented the Terrans from entering a region known only as the ìValley of the Shadowî. Thus the region's vast mineral resources have lain untouched until the arrival of the Zerg. Aedus/Xerxes I charge you with stripping the regions of its resources to prevent their exploitation by the enemy. Destroy any who oppose your action.

My words displease you?

Aedus/Xerxes:
The slaughter of harvesters lies not on the road to valour.

Syndrea:
Now is not the time for hesitation. Proceed with your given task.

Aedus/Xerxes:
By your will judicator.

Game:

<No in-game dialogue>

PROTOSS 7: Defence

Mission Briefing:

Aedus/Xerxes:
Your will has been executed judicator. However with the depletion of the Valley's resources the Zerg have become desperate. They encroach our perimeters as we speak.

Edullon:
Syndrea what have you done?

Syndrea:
EdullonÖ you live.

Edullon:
The Zerg have become erratic; they've begun to swarm the untainted Terran communities.

Syndrea:
I have performed the will of the high Conclave. I am accomplishing the destruction of the Zerg.

Edullon:
At the cost of how many innocent lives?

Syndrea:
The lives of the Terrans are of marginal consequence.

Edullon:
They are living sentient beings!

Syndrea:
To defy my order is to question the authority of the Conclave! You speak heresy Edullon daughter of Demioch. You are weak your will is easily corrupted. I was wrong not to have ordered your execution long ago.

Edullon:
You are blind from your own delusions. Aedus/Xerxes why do you follow her still? You felt as I did once. You know what she is doing is wrong.

Aedus/Xerxes:
I feel no longer.

Syndrea:
Aedus/Xerxes...defend our Brontes fortress from the Zerg marauders. Once accomplished dispense justice to this one who would betray us.

Aedus/Xerxes:
By your will judicator. Edullon when next we meet upon the field of battle our words shall be written in blood.

Edullon:
You've gone too far Syndrea! The Zerg aren't the true infestation. You are.

Game:

Zealot:
The earth moves! It crumbles beneath our feet!

Aedus/Xerxes:
Hold your ground. Destroy anything that lurks beneath it!

PROTOSS 8: Carpenterís Downfall

Mission Briefing:

Aedus/Xerxes:
The Terran psychic known as Atticus Carpenter lives. He was consumed by the cerebrate Incubus but his presence is still felt. His will was not crushed as was the others'. In contrary he grows stronger. I sense struggle turmoil within the brood. The weakened cerebrate Incubus is waning in power. Carpenter's reborn anew.

Edullon:
En Taro Adun Aedus/Xerxes. I thank you for your insight but you take great risk in communicating with me.

Aedus/Xerxes:
I am oath-bound to destroy you but your image bears no hatred in my heart. Beware noble Edullon. Syndrea shall not rest until your line has been destroyed. She fears you and what you represent. Your father's voice holds great weight within the ear of Andraxxus.

Edullon:
Once you fought beside my father join with us now in the glorious battle. The path Syndrea walks is folly. She has twisted Andraxxus' words and intentions. Upon his return she shall feel the weight of his displeasure.

Aedus/Xerxes:
I am of two minds. My loyalty holds strong both for Andraxxus and Syndrea. I may only hope that honour will prevail.

Edullon:
You show an unfounded loyalty within the judicator caste. Syndrea sees you as nothing but a tool a symbol of her power.

Aedus/Xerxes:
Nobility wears many faces.

Edullon:
My heart bleeds for you Aedus/Xerxes.

Aedus/Xerxes:
En Taro Adun my friend's daughter.

Edullon:
Until next we meet.

Aedus/Xerxes:
It grieves me that one of us shall die.

Edullon:
Terrans... friends.

Edullon:
Your nemesis Carpenter he lives.

Jack Frost:
That's not possible. He's been destroyed...

Edullon:
You harmed not him merely his followers. He has gathered a new flock.

Black Morgan:
More rebels?

Edullon:
No. No longer does he concern himself with Terrans. His minions are the Zerg.

Charlie Vane:
Is that possible?

Edullon:
His power is strong. Already he pulls more followers into his fold. As of now for both Protoss and Terran our missions meet as one. We desire the destruction of Atticus Carpenter.

Jack Frost:
But do we have the firepower to back up our intentions?

Edullon:
Many of the vanguard show discontent with the governance of Syndrea. If I were to establish a gateway near the scene of the battle it is likely that many would come.

Charlie Vane:
Those sound like risky odds. What if we shoot craps?

Edullon:
Then we fall in honourable battle.

Jack Frost:
At this point really what choice do we have? I say it's all or nothing.

Game:

<No in-game dialogue>

PROTOSS 9: Syndreaís Assault

Mission Briefing:

Demioch:
Aedus/Xerxes comes. I feel its presence draw near.

Jack Frost:
Aed...Aa....Who?

Demioch:
An archon. When times call for the ultimate sacrifice our people join in unity for the glory of the greater whole. When two Protoss merge as one they form into a being known only as archon. Aedus and Xerxes were high templar of Aiur. They loved one another deeply. When the Zerg first struck it was only natural they should merge in the defence of our people.

Charlie Vane:
You sound as if you know 'em well.

Demioch:
Xerxes was once one of my dearest companions. We fought together in the earliest dawns of this war.

Charlie Vane:
Why does he follow Syndrea?

Demioch:
Xerxes died when he became an archon. The love between Aedus and Xerxes lasted little longer then their unity. As time passed it became a bitter hatred. With every day Aedus/Xerxes falls only deeper into self-loathing.

Charlie Vane:
Can't it choose to stop its suffering?

Demioch:
If it were only that simple. Aedus/Xerxes is bound by duty to fall in honourable combat. Until that time it exists only to hate.

Jack Frost:
And now it's coming after us?

Demioch:
No. It comes for Edullon and myself. But that I could meet him upon the field of battle and end poor Xerxes' suffering.

Charlie Vane:
So what's stopping ya?

Demioch:
Alas I cannot. I have been undone. My body although housed within this metal shell lies broken nonetheless.

Jack Frost:
No problem I'll face him for ya.

Demioch:
Terran you are truly a noble warrior and I am honoured to stand beside you upon the field of battle. But you know not the power of an archon.

Edullon:
Then Iíll go.

Demioch:
My daughterÖ

Edullon:
And once I've lain your friend to rest I shall do likewise to Syndrea.

Demioch:
Be careful my child.

Edullon:
She is a menace to our people. If I must be labelled a heretic for opposing her power so be it. But I shall not have her blind our people to the truth.

Jack Frost:
You stood behind us despite the odds. I can't speak for anyone else but I'm with ya.

Edullon:
Then prepare yourselves. This may be the end.

Game:

Aedus/Xerxes:
Edullon I await you at your pleasure.

Edullon:
I must do this alone.

Aedus/Xerxes:
You...image of your father forgive me. I am free.

Edullon:
We are victorious against those who would betray our noble cause. Our will is strong yet our need remains great. The perils of the pure yet lay before us our enemies draw nigh. Thus ends the Protoss campaign En Taro Adun. Well done warrior.

ZERG 1: Syndreaís Demise

Mission Briefing:

Overmind:
Awaken my child and embrace the glory that is your birthright. Know that I am the Overmind ñ the eternal will of the Swarm ñ and that you have been created to serve me.

Overmind:
You are the hunter evolved and bred to emerge from the darkness and consume those who would resist my will.

Nargil:
Cerebrate I shall help you as you learn. Together we shall grow strong and in that unity the Swarm shall grow stronger.

Overmind:
Go forth now to the surface of Brontes IV. There you shall find the site of a great battle.  As the armies part you must find the Protoss leader named Syndrea.

Nargil:
I shall proceed ahead of you securing access to the planet's surface. My Brood shall engage those Protoss orbiting Brontes IV so that you may pass unharmed.

Overmind:
Track your prey and end her futile struggle against the Swarm.

Game:

Overmind:
My youngest Syndrea's army prepares for their departure. You must not allow this to happen. Find our quarry and bring her to me.

Syndrea:
So it comes to pass. Andraxxus proved weak with his sympathy to the Terrans and so our race shall suffer. Destroy me quickly beastling.

Nargil:
The Overmind intends a different fate for you.

ZERG 2: Nargilís Swarm

Mission Briefing:

Overmind:
You have done well my youngest. Your power grows.

Nargil:
Cerebrate our work is far from over. My brood still battles with the Protoss' main host. Slowly the walls of their orbital fortress begin to crumble.

Overmind:
As they triumph above so you shall prepare for them below. My youngest go to the planet's surface and prepare for the arrival of Nargil's swarm. Such is my will.

Game:

<No in-game dialogue>

ZERG 3: The Road to Victory

Mission Briefing:

Nargil:
Overmind the Protoss have been driven from their stellar homes. As we speak Andraxxus guides their survivors towards the planet's surface. My brood awaits your word to give chase.

Overmind:
You have done well to force the Protoss from the seat of their power. But it is not your role to play the part of the pursuer. Reign in the fury of the Fenris swarm. This day's glory shall belong to another.

Nargil:
By your will Overmind.

Overmind:
With Andraxxus weakened I have felt the presence of another. Auza ñ the cerebrate of Incubus ñ yet lives although he is unfamiliar to me. Another grows within him. Another that harvests the bile of discontentment for the Swarms. Nargil you must stand ready to answer my summons. You must hold vigil from your stellar aerie searching for a sign from the one who would betray us; the one named Carpenter.

Overmind:
Youngest your baptism shall be one of fire. Already the followers of Syndrea begin to reform and prepare for the arrival of their brethren. Eliminate them while they still founder before they may join Andraxxus and his legions.

Game:

<No in-game dialogue>

ZERG 4: Fury

Mission Briefing:

Overmind:
Youngest you must help my minions. As you wage war upon the followers of Syndrea misfortune has befallen. My vigil revealed the remnants of both Andraxxus' Protoss and the Terran resistance. They were baited into meeting upon the field of battle. They were to fight one another in ignorance and my minions rise forth from the earth to devour the victorious...

Nargil:
But all of our plans are eclipsed by their most base and foul treachery! Not all Protoss think as Syndrea. The creatures have allied! Make haste or my swarms shall be crushed between their overwhelming numbers.

Overmind:
Go forth and destroy all who would oppose my will.

Game:

<No in-game dialogue>

ZERG 5: Terran Remains

Mission Briefing:

Overmind:
We are victorious. No misfortune no matter how great can suffer the might of the swarms. Our enemy lay in pieces scattered to winds before my wrath.

It is now I seek another goal one that you shall execute Cerebrate.

Nargil:
Here replays the words of our enemies a transmission gleaned from the dropship of one of our most obstinate foes.

Jack Frost:
We sure had some good times together.

Black Morgan:
Yeah we sure did.

Jack Frost:
Where are you planning on goin'?
Black Morgan:
I don't know. Some place small far off the beaten track. New Dresdin has nothing for me anymore.

Jack Frost:
You know we could always start over...

Black Morgan:
Goodbye Jack

Overmind:
I must know the minds of our enemies. The Terran named Morgan has strayed from the flock. By inspiring terror within those around her she will flee into the parasitic embrace of our beloved queens.

Nargil:
Cerebrate I would suggest you herald your arrival with violence. Her inherent weakness shall drive her to the safety of her allies.

Game:

Black Morgan:
I've done what I could. It's all over but the crying.  Let's blow this popsicle stand.

Black Morgan:
Uh oh.

ZERG 6: Complete Ruins

Mission Briefing:

Charlie Vane:
Morgan! I thought youíd be long gone by now!

Black Morgan:
It's...it's... hopeless Vane. They're everywhere.

Charlie Vane:
You look hurt. Maybe I should call you a medic.

Black Morgan:
It's nothing that a stiff drink won't cure.

Charlie Vane:
Some things never change.

Overmind:
Through the eyes of Morgan the Terransí hidden fortress has been unveiled. Go now my youngest. Enter their home and make our presence known.

Game:

<No in-game dialogue>

ZERG 7: The Infestation

Mission Briefing:

Overmind:
Your success has proven you worthy my youngest. Now it comes to pass that you should swell your brood so that you may be able to enforce my will with undeniable certainty.

The core of Terran retaliation has been shattered. Go forth to their remaining outposts and consume them into your fold.

Game:

Overmind:
So Carpenter would reveal himself to my will. Make haste my youngest; revel in your new found strength. Consume the Terrans and make certain your claim to power. Eliminate all who would oppose my will.

ZERG 8: Vengeance

Mission Briefing:

Andraxxus:
You have gone too far abomination. You would seek to harm those who are my allies. I shall not rest until you have been destroyed.

Nargil:
Cerebrate as you look towards the Carpenter brood the Protoss seek to avenge their fallen allies.

Overmind:
It has been noted... Andraxxus strikes at both Carpenter as well as you my youngest. Andraxxus has proven rash in his eagerness such is his weakness.

Nargil shall confront the Protoss warrior. You my youngest shall continue the assault upon the Carpenter's brood. Such is my will.

Game:

<No in-game dialogue>

ZERG 9: The Ultimate Conquest

Mission Briefing:

Black Morgan:
We can't stay in hiding forever.

Charlie Vane:
Something's going down. During my recon I saw the Protoss duking it out with some Zerg.

Jack Frost:
They must be diverting the Zerg's attention giving us time to escape. We have to make contact with Andraxxus and let him know we're still alive.

Black Morgan:
So what do we do now?

Jack Frost:
I don't know. I'm worried. The Zerg must have gotten to one of our men. Let's go to Andraxxus. He's been fighting the Zerg longer than any of us. He might be able to give us some insight. Tell no one where we're going. You're the only ones I can trust.

Overmind:
Our agent serves us well. Follow them my youngest. Let them guide you to Andraxxus and then destroy them all. But beware the bulk of the Protoss will return once you've made yourself known.

Game:

Jack Frost:
Andraxxus we need your help. The Zerg keep dogging our tracks.

Andraxxus:
Your answer lies with Morgan. She wears taint about her shoulders.

They have used you. Their minions grow within you.

Jack Frost:
Morgan?!?

Black Morgan:
But that's not possible. Uh...unless...oh my God. What have I done?

Andraxxus:
You may have doomed us all. Prepare for war!

Overmind:
<Sinister chuckle>

Edullon:
Father I have failed youÖ

Demioch:
Death cannot stop me!

Black Morgan:
Tell Jack...that I love him.

Charlie Vane:
Mayday! Mayday! Aw this is gonna hurtÖ

<Sound of crash>

Jack Frost:
Iím taking all of you with me!

Andraxxus:
For the glory of Aiur!

ZERG 10: The Time to Strike

Mission Briefing:

Overmind:
Protoss and Terran lie in ashes before the fury of the swarm. But the hour of your greatest trial soon lies at hand. Our truest threat upon Brontes IV is that which most resembles our own.

Carpenter's brood has proven the strength and resilience of our race but now the time for this experiment draws to a close. Carpenter's brood is young and without the solace of my will he cannot resist the damage we have caused.

Both Terran and Protoss strove to conquer Carpenter. Both have failed. But now is the time to strike my youngest. Fulfil their goal. Destroy Carpenter...

Game:

Overmind:
With the destruction of Carpenter your victory is complete. You have proven worthy my youngest. Brontes IV is governed by my will alone.

You have executed my will my youngest. The Insurrection is...over.
